Welcome to Weekend of Freedom Retreat 2016
We are excited to bring you the 5th annual Weekend of Freedom Retreat! Our retreats are based on A Course In Miracles (ACIM). This year’s event will be held June 16-19, 2016 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado.
As students of ACIM, attending weekly study groups, practicing our daily lessons, and going about our daily lives, it is helpful to retreat from our regular routine and distractions. We have an opportunity to explore how to apply ACIM in our daily lives on a deeper level.
We offer an opportunity to enjoy an intimate experience while we are exploring what it feels like to share with each other and expand our minds. Our programs allow freedom of expression, with the intent of Equality. Our retreats have guest speakers, meditation, music, and activities that include hiking and exploring the beautiful surroundings.
This year we’ll enjoy Colorado’s spectacular Rockies! On the venue page you will find information about the YMCA, with examples of the abundant activities you can participate in; elsewhere on the site you’ll find links to local resources, which will complement your retreat experience, particularly if you extend your visit in the Estes Park area before and/or after the retreat itself.
An ACIM-related bookstore will be available during the entire weekend.
Evening campfires, a guided night walk, and other outdoor activities will add to the opportunities for extended conversations and JoYning.
